Gone tells the story of Kit "Kick"Lanigan (Leven Rambin), survivor of a famous child-abduction case, and Frank Novak (Chris Noth), the FBI agent who rescued her. Determined never to fall victim again and now a young woman, Kick has trained herself in martial arts and the use of firearms.

I’ve read every book she has written and One Kick is a really good book. I enjoyed the show, it was worth paying for. I do wish it had stuck more to the book, however they made a few changes that actually made more sense than in the book soooo all in all I really hope to see a second season.

I originally saw this show on WGN and when I watched the pilot I instantly thought of my coworker. I bought this series JUST so I could show my coworker since I couldn"t get an online stream version of it without buying it and it was definitely a show that needed to be watched. Downside is that now my coworker is extremely depressed since we watched all of Season 1 and no talk over Season 2
I am a long-time, avid ID watcher who has long followed the show Disappeared. However, I just cannot seem to get in to Gone, which is clearly a test-run replacement. I don"t know if it is the narration, the layout or just the stories themselves, but it did not keep me interested!
I stupidly paid for the entire season because the premise sounded so good, + it was set in Pittsburgh. Don"t do it. Boring, predictable, terrible acting...awful in every way. No wonder we never saw it on network television.
