They were about to go to Mars in the Fallout universe, and then the nuclear war happened. Their space tech was actually really good, and if the war didn't happen it probably would have sent them to a space age level of technology. That's why you see advanced stuff like this. It's really cool, but I don't think it has anything to do with Starfield. At most I'd say the same guy(s) at Bethesda that designed this might have designed the space station in the Starfield trailer, that's why there's some similar things.
You are watching: Fallout 76 space station
I think it's a coincidence and based on something like this that already thought about for Fallout
They've had space stuff before. They had the alien mothership dlc for Fallout 3.
I've seen the crashed station in-game and it's very different to the starfield station. They are both round is the main similarly.
I don't know if I see much of a similarity, other than the circular walkway. But even that is made of a different material than the one in the Starfield teaser, where it seems to be glass.
Starfield is a complete new ip, nothing to do with Fallout. They might have easter eggs here and there, but like the mutated nirnroot, it wont be canon.
Hmmm – I don't see it. They're both space stations, obviously, but the Fallout crashed station looks much more like something form 2001: A Space Odyssey than it does the space station from the Starfield trailer. The Starfield one looks like a well rendered station from Bablyon 5 or something 😛
I don't have it either but I just accidentally stumbled upon pictures and videos of it while I was watching a Noclip's documentary on Fallout 76. There are some videos on youtube and lots of pictures on google images, just google “crashed space station Fallout 76”. All I can say is that it's definitely the size of what we've seen in the trailer. It's color scheme and shape is more or less the same. But other than that – nothing. Would appreciate any info from anyone who played FO76 too. Maybe some audio logs or notes lying around? There's gotta be something…
